Newsletter: Demo this Friday in Stuttgart, Traffic Survey, Winter Elections
Dear fellow students,
we hope you have had a good start into the semester. Below, we have compiled some equally interesting and important info for you:
Universities are bleeding dry: Join the Protest this Friday, Nov. 15, 12 pm in Stuttgart
1,6% less than in previous years: this is what current drafts for the new university funding agreement envisage. What may sound trivial at first glance means that some universities effectively will be missing out on several million euros every year!
And what about us students? Fewer student assistant positions, fewer tutorials, shorter library opening hours and so on. In some cases, even entire study programmes could be cancelled. In short, the way we used to be studying could be in real danger! That’s why students from all over Baden-Wuerttemberg are taking to the streets to protest against this!
Friday, Nov. 15, 2024
Meeting Point: 12:00 pm at the Stadtgarten Stuttgart
Start of the Protest: 12:30 pm
More info via sturahd.de/hofi3 and on WhatsApp.
Traffic Survey:
Take part in our survey on public transport tickets, weekend and evening regulations and cycling in Heidelberg.
Your opinion is important so that student representatives can effectively represent student interests in contact with the transport association or the City of Heidelberg.
You are welcome to get in touch with the transport department at any time regarding any topics, issues and requests of your (individual) concern. They will be gladly taken into account.
